LOYOLA EVENING SCHOOL - SUMMER CAMP

A summer camp is an essential part of the school life which aims at teaching various new skills to students in order to promote a learning environment and to equipe them with real world skills and to nurture and nourish the young minds in a fun-filled way. Keeping this in mind we organized Summer Camp for a week for the children of age group of 6-15 years from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at SXSSS campus.

The camp started on 23rd April 2024. Though the majority of the children left for village there were around 27 students registered in the camp.

All the students got engaged actively in fun-filled activities ranging from art to craft, drawing and painting, creating best out of the waste, storytelling and acting, paper dress making, mehendi designing and fancy-dress competition.

The exuberant students zealously participated and showcased their talents by taking part diligently in each planned activity. They not only made memories while having fun but they were able to face their fears, tried new things pushed their boundaries and gained self-confidence.

Stories always give wings to our imagination and take us to places beyond the boundaries of physical efforts. One of the activities where children were more excited was creative presentation of storytelling. They were divided into three groups and they were given time to create the stories of their choice and enact it. Each and every story was narrated with a moral message at the end. All groups did well. The oratory and presentation skills of the students were really good.

Light refreshments and snacks were served to the students at the end of each day. All the activities helped the students to develop their bilateral coordination skills, promoted their artistic efforts, improved processing skills and enhanced executive functioning skills.
