Picnic is a time to enjoy and relax. It also enhances the bond between one another. So, a one-day picnic was organized by SXSSS and sponsored by Ms Swetalben Patel (one of our Benefactors who has been sponsoring this picnic over the last few years) for our Loyola Evening School -LES Children on 29th December 2022. Mr Rajesh Christian a tour organizer made it an amazing and memorable experience for our students and teachers. 65 Children (6th to 10th Standard) along with 9 staffs and Director were taken to Historical places like Rani Ni Vav in Patan and Sun Temple at Modhera. Children were excited and thrilled. They went around Rani Ni Vav and the Sun Temple and garden running and jumping. Some of them were observing the art and carvings in the stones while others were busy clicking the photos.

From there the children were taken to Dinosaur’s Park cum Regional Science Museum, Patan. The objective of Museum is to communicate the growth in Technology and its application in improving the quality of life. It was portrayed through exhibitions, introductions and 3D Show. Children were interested to see the Dinosaur Gallery. The climax of the visit ended with the 3D show which was an exciting experience for the students & the teachers. 

During the day the children were provided with breakfast, delicious lunch at Asopalav Hotel at Patan and on return Pau bhaji at Loyola Hall. The day out brought joy and happiness on the faces of the children.Hats off to Ms Swetalben for sponsoring the picnic and making this day a memorable one for our LES students. (Sr Beena -SXSSS)
