Children's Day Celebration 2022

A joint initiative of St. Xavier's Social Service Society and St. Xavier's Loyola School with the support of Ahmedabad Kamdar Suraksha Abhiyan- Lok ​​Sangthan, Children's Day was celebrated at St. Xavier's Loyola School Premises. Children aged 5 to 15 years from 97 areas of Ahmedabad city participated in this children's festival program.

Through the Children's Day program, a bridge was built between the 280 students of Loyola High School and the 1100 children of the institution's work area. The High School students organized various games in total 36 stalls with great love and joy.  Every child got a gift irrespective of whether they won or not through the game coupon. Loyola School children and faculty were very impressed to see a natural smile on each child's face upon receiving this gift. They had a feeling of satisfaction as their efforts brought good results.

Loyola School students did a great job serving food to the local children at the end of the AnandMela. During the meal time, a small sports event was organized for the reaming children and it was held in the school grounds when one group of children were having the food. In which children enjoyed participating in the games like sack race, 100 meter relay race etc.

After the meal, the cultural program was organized at the Diamond Jubilee Hall. In which children won the hearts of the audience by presenting various film songs, action songs, Rajasthani dance, film dance and garba. A group of children from our work areas presented a play spreading the message of “save the environment”.

This event brought out the hidden talents of children and gave them an opportunity to display the same in front of the larger audience. The guests encouraged the children to pursue for a brighter future.
